a glance at the previous two posts suggests that we all enjoy cabins probably for the same reasons we enjoy mountains. there’s something hopeful in the formal organization of an arrow pointing to the sky. not to mention mountains and cabins share an element of refuge and retreat, intimacy with nature, and magnified introspection as the result of a life really lived.
